Medical Centre Details

Stoke Gifford Medical Centre and Conygre Medical Centre are part of an NHS medical practice in north Bristol serving Stoke Gifford,Filton, Hambrook, and parts of Little Stoke and south Bradley Stoke. The practice has been developed from a single handed practice in Filton, taken over in 1982. At that time there were about 2500 patients in the practice. The practice has now grown to nearly 12,000 patients and with two purpose built medical centres. Further expansion of our Stoke Gifford site is likely, to accommodate new patients including those who may wish to join from a new housing development in Hambrook. The practice is part of South Gloucestershire PCT and also a practice-based commissioning group called 'Fourways'.


The practice is run by a team of seven partners - six GP s together with our practice manager. We have an excellent practice team which, as well as the partners, includes assistant GP's, practice nurses, health care assistants, administrative staff, receptionists and attached staff (district nurses, midwives and health visitors).
